We have 3 immediate openings for a Sales Engineer / Solutions Engineer / Technical Pre-Sales in the following areas: 1) Atlanta, 2) Boston, 3) New York Metro. Our hiring client provides open source tools and commercial products that enable developers, operators and security professionals to provision, secure, run and connect distributed application infrastructure. This position will deal heavily with strategic client relationships in large Financial Services, Healthcare, Web and verticals. You will be part of a high performance team driving business development and sales growth by providing technical expertise around DevOps (Development Operations). The ideal hire will have the ability to provide expert guidance on DevOps concepts with strong skill sets in infrastructure architecture, cloud, IT operations, security and development processes. Base salary is $150K – $180K with $35K variable – no cap plus equity and benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, commuter benefits and 401K)
- Must have a B.S. degree in engineering from an accredited college / university preferred.
- 5+ years Technical Pre-Sales / Sales Engineering experience – practitioners are welcome.
- Proficiency in understanding concepts and technologies in DevOps, IT operations, security, cloud, microservices, containers and scheduling platforms.
- Experience implementing software products or solutions to large and dynamic enterprise companies.
- Must be willing and able to occasionally travel domestically and internationally.
